sometimes thinking of you so much

makes my mind feels as if there is a struggle
everytime i try to say your name all i could do is stutter
because every moment with you is like rain pouring down a gutter

The Past

it was five year ago or cant you remember
the sweet smelling aroma of rain and whatever
it was raining hard and the breeze blowing rapidly
i saw that smile and couldnt get you off my mind so easily
it took some time and courage to speak to you
but by the time i aproached you i didnt know what to do
you were with your cousin with her soft voice that cant hurt a fly
except for when she wanted to make noise
she introduced us both an told me about you and from that point on
i could't stop thinking of you
as time moved on and the days progressed
it was easy to talk without no stress
i found a common denominator his name was avery
he was like your best friend so it was easy for me
but then i got this tip that you were going through something
with one short little goon who obviously meant nothing
to me of course couldnt i didnt care
with just one glance and the touch of your hair
i got to see that smile from you
made me glad it made me feel knew
then the good news came that you two were not going
i was so rejoiced i felt like jumping
so i tried my hand and to my surprise
you grabbed on to the bait like a little goggle eye
but then again you did it again you left me once more for another little friend
and then it came to me again that now you have desserted from this other little friend
you seem confused and dont know what to do
but i am willing to give you an option so you will have a clue
that i have been here from the very beginning
ready to win your heart and do all of the mending
so you wont have to go through the breaking up again
for i will be more than a lover but a very close friend
the one that you can give your heart to
where i will keep it close to me like the rest should have tried to do
before they failed and hurt your heart
but now we have a very fresh start
with you i can go on and on
talking about you from dusk to dawn
but all i am asking is one lil favor to try me just once like an ice cream flavor

It's raining it and i am soaked in it
